The Team
Based in Whetstone, North London, the Practice is currently 17 personnel split between Engineering and Surveying disciplines with the appropriate administrative back-up under the direction of the Managing Director and two Technical Directors.
Andrew Halstead BSc FRICS FConsE
Managing Director
Andrew has over 25 years of experience in the Quantity Surveying field, joining Halstead Associates in 1985 which developed the Practice into Surveying and Project Management. Andrew is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Association of Consulting Engineers.
John Hydon MRICS
Director of Surveying
John joined Halstead Associates in 1989 having already gained 15 years experience with two well established practices. John has particular responsibility for the Quantity Surveying and Building Surveying sections of the practice. John specialises in Party Wall and boundary negotiations.
Richard Butler CEng MSc BSc CEng MIStructE MICE
Director of Engineering
Richard joined Halstead Associates in 1991, starting his career with a main contractor before joining a private practice in 1984. As Director of Engineering, Richard is responsible for ensuring the practice keeps up to date with modern design options, providing clients with the appropriate and most cost effective solution.
