SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

We are a medium size multi-discipline Consultancy with an established and diverse client base in both private and public sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional to take full responsibility for our cost management team and develop its position in the market place.

The successful candidate should have:

  • Sound technical knowledge
  • Consultancy background
  • Day to day management experience
  • A good communicator and team builder
  • A minimum 3 years Post Qualification (RICS) experience
  • Solid "hands on" practical experience
  • Have good client facing skills
  • Confidence in dealing with Contractors and Clients
  • Experience in managing other Surveyors
  • Ambition to help the Practice grow

SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

  • The successful candidate should have
  • Minimum 10 years post graduate experience within a Structural Engineering Consultancy
  • Experience of design in all forms of construction, eg reinforced concrete, structural steelwork, timber and masonry.
  • Possess good client facing skills and be able to gain their confidence.
  • Capable of dealing effectively with people at all levels and managing junior team members.
  • Ability to plan, manage and deliver projects to agreed deadlines and to a high standard.
  • Knowledge of UK British Standards and Codes of Practice.
  • Prepared to take responsibility for their own work and "ownership" of projects.
  • Experience of attending meetings with Client's design team members and Contractors and in carrying out site inspections.
  • Good all round communication skills.
  • Pro-active attitude.
  • Good team player
  • Computer literate
