| Project Brief: | This project involved the construction of new build Infant School including assembly/sports hall, classrooms, dining hall and nursery. A steel frame was chosen for the structure of the school to provide clear open spaces and for speed of construction, with the roof being constructed in a combination of metal decking, timber rafters and timber trusses. Exposed “cellular” steel roof beams were chosen to provide a “feature”. |
