Our brief included for both the structural design for the conversion of the building into luxury apartments and to form a substantial side extension in keeping with the Castle using natural stone for the external skin of the cavity walls, off a reinforced concrete piled substructure.

Nine individual apartments, the Tower House and the Boat House were created to provide homes of individuality and character, all with superb waterside views from the principal rooms and some with roof terraces. A high class specification includes custom built wooden kitchens, luxury bathrooms, lifts, electronically controlled gated entrance with video entry systems and garage. Many fine period features remain which embellish both the communal areas and individual homes including stone mullions, panelling, stained glass and leaded windows and fireplaces.
